C.      Approval of February 19, 2025 Minutes;  Susan moves, Becky seconds.  Motion carries.            

D.     Treasurer’s Update--Deb Langacker; $11824.11

E.     Coordinated Entry Update--Liz Croley; Attached

F.     By-Laws Changes; Susan moves, Lisa seconds approval.  AHA, B and GC, City of Appleton, COTS, CUIC, ESTHER, First UMC Appleton, First UMC Neenah, Fox Valley Veterans Council, Habitat for Humanity, Neighborhood Housing, Out. Co Human Services, Pillars, Riverview Gardens, Ryan Community, Salvation Army, United Way, Winnebago Co. Health Dept.  vote yes.  Motion passes.                                                  

G.     Housing Alliance--Kristine Giornalista;  Outagamie, Winnebago and Calumet Counties.  Trying to create a network of people who want to be part of this effort.  Steering committee has been formed and will start meeting in May or June to create an identity for the Alliance.  Will look at other communities throughout the state to see what they have been doing.  Plan to create work groups by end of summer.  Kristine will remain the project manager for the time being.  Have commitments from a credit union, faith communities, nonprofits, two home builders to serve on the steering team.

H.    Spotlight:  McKinney-Vento-School District Support

 for families experiencing homelessness--Molly McGregor;  Federal law that requires identification of children who are homeless and ensure they receive needed support.  Each school district has a homeless liaison.  Info attached.

I.      1951i – new housing support benefit--Becky Heldt:  Attached.

K.     Action Plan Committee Updates

a.       Affordable Housing--Susan Garcia Franz: There was an Intro to Affordable Housing Advocacy training that took place on March 3, 2025 where Susan Garcia Franz and Richard Dodge from the subcommittee along with Breanna Illene from WI Council of Churches. This has been recorded and will continue to be shared out. 

There was another presentation to a men's group meeting at Memorial Presbyterian Church. 

The subcommittee is working on a draft of an action plan  with a time line and will discuss and vote on it in an upcoming meeting. The committee members continue to reach out to other groups working on affordable housing. Some members have attended a meeting about the City of Neenah Housing Study and commented on their support during the open forum session of the meeting.

c.     Increase Non-Employment Cash income--Jennie Moore;  No report

d.     Prevent or Reverse the Criminalization of Homelessness--Lisa Strandberg: No report
